The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro (The ACGG) is thrilled to announce a pivotal partnership with the Guilford Merchants Association/FirstPoint in support of the groundbreaking "Small Business Development Hub for Creatives" project. This collaboration aims to empower artists in Guilford County, fostering a thriving community that celebrates creativity, innovation, and economic growth.

The core objective of the "Small Business Development Hub for Creatives" is to connect artists to professional development opportunities. The ACGG envisions a future where artists can establish successful small businesses, allowing them to thrive while remaining rooted in Guilford County.

Scheduled to launch this October, the Hub will play a pivotal role in helping creatives navigate their career paths and access the tools and skillsets needed to develop strong and resilient businesses. The ACGG has strategically partnered with regional content providers, including SCORE, Triangle Arts Works, Center for Creative Economies, GTCC, High Point Arts Council, Winston-Salem Forsyth Arts Council, and The Small Business Center Network. Through a series of workshops and funded programs, artists will gain access to enriching professional development experiences, setting the stage for their entrepreneurial success.

The Guilford Merchants Association/FirstPoint's (GMA) unwavering support for the "Small Business Development Hub for Creatives" project underscores their commitment to fostering a dynamic business ecosystem within Guilford County. By investing in this initiative, GMA/FirstPoint is contributing to creating a community where the arts thrive.

"Through this transformative collaboration with the GMA, we are one step closer to realizing our vision of a vibrant arts community," said Laura Way, President + CEO at The Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. "The 'Small Business Development Hub for Creatives' project will not only empower artists but provide access to business development programs."
