The Carolina Theatre Announces Partial Lineup for the
2025-26 CT Presents Series

GREENSBORO – The Carolina Theatre of
Greensboro is thrilled to announce some concerts and highlights for the
upcoming CT Presents Series, including nationally touring artists, family
shows, Grammy Award winners, and more!
Here's the
rundown:
• Easton
Corbin, American country music singer will kick off the series on Friday,
September 5 at 7:30 PM. With hits including "A Little More Country
Than That" and "Roll with It", Easton has released four studio
albums since 2010. He has been honored with various awards by the Country Music
Association, CMT Music Awards, American Country Awards, and the Academy of
Country Music Awards.
• Next up
is 23 Skidoo & The Secret Agency on Sunday, September 28 at 3:30 PM.
Asheville based group, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo is a Grammy winning,
internationally touring, purple velvet tuxedo wearing family funk phenomenon.
Combining the positive, primal power of hip hop with the surreal storytelling
of science fiction, 23 Skidoo has wowed family crowds across the planet.
• The
String Queens will take the stage on Friday, October 17 at 7:30 PM. Praised
for their authentic, soulful, and orchestral sound, The String Queens (TSQ) is
a dynamic trio that performs an array of repertoire spanning from the Baroque
era to the Jazz Age to today’s Billboard Hot 100 Chart. TSQ performs
versatile programs that take listeners on a rousing musical journey through
time and a multitude of musical genres.
• Sam Bush
will surely bring down the house on Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 PM.
Sam is an American mandolinist who is considered an originator of progressive
bluegrass music. In 2020, he was inducted into the International Bluegrass
Music Hall of Fame as a member of New Grass Revival. He was inducted into the
Hall of Fame a second time in 2023 as a solo artist.
• For the
holidays, we have Mark O’Connor’s An Appalachian Christmas featuring
Maggie O’Connor on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 PM, showcasing
fresh bluegrass, folk and Americana arrangements of holiday classics, both
vocal and instrumental. Their music captures the varied emotions of the season
that will surely get the audience in the holiday spirit. Mr. O’Connor has won
three Grammys, seven CMA awards as well as several national fiddle, guitar and
mandolin champion titles. As Mark and Maggie are both Asheville based
musicians, a portion of ticket sales will go toward supporting ArtsAVL artist
relief.
• The new
year will bring more family entertainment with Dr. Kaboom: Under Pressure!
on Sunday, January 18 at 3:30 PM. Be amazed by the power of pressure and
what it can teach us. Equal parts interactive science, comedy, and personal
empowerment messages, Doktor Kaboom illustrates physical science
concepts, which are also metaphors for real-life mental and emotional
pressures.
• The
World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will return to The Carolina Theatre
stage on Friday, January 30 at 7:00 PM! The legendary Glenn Miller was one
of the most successful of all dance bandleaders back in the Swing Era of the
1930’s and 40’s. Today, the 18-member ensemble continues to play many of
the original Miller arrangements along with more modern selections arranged and
performed in the Miller style and sound. Just as it was in Glenn’s day, the
Glenn Miller Orchestra is still the most sought-after big band in the
