Christine Ringuette has been appointed communications manager for Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM), effective June 19, 2019. Ringuette has most recently served as the Executive Director of Dress for Success Winston Salem. Prior to that she worked for Habitat for Humanity in a variety of leadership roles. Greensboro Urban Ministry had a hand is helping launch Christine’s career many years ago when we was hired as the program manager at the GUM’s Pathways.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing Greensboro Urban Ministry’s mission and to impact the lives of those in need,” Ringuette said. “

Over the past year and a half Greensboro Urban Ministry has been engaged in a vigorous and intensive process of organizational strategic planning. After considerable research and reflection a new plan has emerged a set of priorities which will form the agenda for the future.  The goal is to ensure that GUM maintains and enhances its unique and vital services to our community.  Increasing the organizations visibility is key.

As communications manager, Ringuette will be responsible for Greensboro Urban Ministry’s overall communications strategy, including branding/co-branding, public relations, web presence, in addition to internal and external marketing and communications.
