Awaken Your Inner Treasure Hunter!

GREENSBORO, NC – Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its newest retail store and donation center located at 4808 W. Market Street in Greensboro. The Grand Opening is scheduled for Wednesday, January 30th. The doors will open for shoppers at 9am. On Saturday, February 2nd shoppers can enter to win door prizes, including a Google Smart Home Starter Kit and a 55” LED TV.

“The surrounding community has been very generous to Triad Goodwill over the past several years,” says Celeste MacMurdo, Executive Vice President of Retail Operations. “The great location and community support led to our decision to open a new, larger store and donation center. We are excited that the new location will make shopping and donating more convenient for the community.”

The Market Street store is replacing the store located at Muirs Chapel Road, which will close on Saturday, January 26th. The new store will stock a full range of merchandise appealing to shoppers looking for casual and fashionable clothing and accessories for adults and children. There will also be a large selection of home décor and housewares. It’s the perfect shopping stop for treasure hunters and those on a budget who want to look stylish.

Once open, the store and donation center hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9am – 8pm and Sunday 1pm – 6pm.

“Opening and operating this new store will help us continue to serve our mission of providing free job training and career development services to all members in our community who are unemployed or underemployed,” said Chris Gorham, President and CEO of Triad Goodwill.
