Riding High Harley-Davidson Wins 2018 Retailer of the Year Award

In March of 2018, Mark Wheelihan opened Riding High Harley-Davidson on Highway 68 near the Greensboro-High Point border. After many years of operations on Farragut Street in Greensboro and enjoying an 8.5 percent increase in business in 2017, it was time for an expansion into a new facility that can hold twice the number of motorcycles for sales and service. The company currently employs 34 individuals and expects to add another 6-8 full-time employees soon.

Riding High Harley-Davidson operates by a philosophy of providing superior service to their customers in an honest, professional, and courteous way and enhancing the Harley-Davidson motorcycling experience for the people in the community, and anywhere the adventure takes them. They are known for the support and service they provide their customers, creating a community of Harley riders. From offering learn to ride classes and organized tour lead rides to supporting local owners and riders groups, Riding High works hard to maintain a relationship with their customers. As a result, Wheelihan didn’t need much promotion to get the word out about his new facility to the close-knit community of Harley riders. Mark and his wife Tara, along with Riding High Harley-Davidson, are proud to support the Carolina Field of Honor at Triad Park that honors the members of our community who have served in the armed forces. They also offer special rates to veterans for their riding classes.

For its connection to the community and commitment to sound business growth, GMA is pleased to award Riding High Harley-Davidson with the 2018 Retailer of the Year award.
