Introducing our new President,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce Joshua Gould’s appointment as our new President and CEO of Industries of the Blind effective January 1, 2018. Joshua will be working alongside David LoPresti beginning December 1, 2017 through the transition. We are thankful to David for his leadership and all he has done for Industries of the Blind over the last 10 years and wish him well in his well-deserved retirement.

Joshua has an extensive background and proven record in leadership, business development, lean manufacturing and engineering at Danaher Corporation, AAMCO, and Emerson. Joshua has most recently owned and operated his own consulting business, SAE Consulting, where he provided consultative services focusing on Business Strategy & Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions & Financial Evaluation, and Organizational Structure to many different industries. Prior to that, Joshua was the VP/GM for Global Powertrain Systems, part of the AAMCO Business, where for 3 years he led their transmission remanufacturing business. For the previous 12 years, he worked at Gilbarco Veeder-Root in Greensboro, a division of Danaher corporation, in successive roles including marketing, operations, M&A, and finishing as the GM for their Automation Business unit.

Joshua earned his MBA and a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and his BSCE from Tufts University. He has lived in Greensboro for the last 15 years, is married with 3 children between the ages of 1 and 16, and is active in the local community.
