The City of Greensboro is reviewing the ordinances which govern solicitors, mobile food vendors, street performers and those who utilize public places to ask for money, sell goods, etc. This review consists of legal analysis, statistical analysis, and public input. To this end, City legal and outside counsel request input from all parts of the community,  including solicitors, vendors, merchants, business owners, and citizens.  The City has scheduled five public forums.  Each forum will be conducted by Dr. John Stephens of the UNC School of Government who will serve as the trained neutral facilitator. The various dates, times, and locations are intended to encourage community-wide input. The public is invited to attend and speak.
