GREENSBORO, NC (January 2, 2019) – The Planning Department’s latest Growth and Development Trends Report [greensboro-nc.gov]  outlines indications that Greensboro’s economy continues to improve.

This trends report summarizes some of the most important data and trends shaping Greensboro. A few examples are:
The unemployment rate continues to go down. Recent monthly rates are some of the lowest the City has seen since 2000.
Median earnings and average annual wages have increased.
Population growth, as well as annexation and building activity continue to increase.
